... of summer at G's, is his wonderful backyard which we've worked so hard on (more him than me). On the 4th we stained his deck (more to come on that) and it's the perfect spot to view some of my favorite flowers. His peonies have since bloomed and gone but this was a wonderful surprise for me this week, so I made sure to harvest some hydrangea to savor at Westown. It's funny how I felt a little guilty for taking a few stems, but isn't that what a garden is for?! These lavender beauties are just perfect in a mason jar on our "sofa table" with my big glass jar and some books and other goodies. Love!
